Dry winter, early bud break, relatively mild summer with a few hot spikes in June and late July. Normal yield. Harvested on 9/9.

Sweet, floral nose of rose petal, plum and anise. Secondary aromas of stone fruits, rhubarb pie, wild strawberry and Meyer lemon. Full-bodied flavors of ripe bing cherry and dark raspberry. Big, long finish with flavors of dark red fruits, cinnamon, baker’s chocolate and tobacco framed by round tannins and lively acidity.
