Nestled in the heart of Wine Country, Whetstone’s 19th-century Historic Chateau has long been a favorite destination for intimate gatherings, wine tastings, and celebrations.
We offer several settings on the Whetstone property to include the tasting salon, front patio, upper terrace, oak grove and vineyard. These spaces allow us to offer unique and immersive settings for weddings, milestone celebrations, and corporate retreats.
The vineyard offers sweeping views of rolling vines, perfect for golden-hour ceremonies and alfresco dining. The oak grove provides a shaded, tranquil escape ideal for intimate gatherings or a wine-paired lunch. Both spaces are available May through October, weather permitting.
The tasting salon is the perfect setting for intimate, candle lit gatherings year-round. The upper terrace offers an elevated vantage point with stunning views of the property. The front patio, surrounded by majestic oaks and a vast green lawn, unfolds into a charming space, where guests can linger under the open sky.

With its blend of rustic stonework, soft greenery, and the gentle hum of Napa Valley, each setting feels both timeless and effortlessly relaxed.

In addition to these picturesque settings, we are now offering two distinctive offsite locations in Napa: the historic Borreo Building and the inspiring Gordon Huether Art Studio. For those seeking a downtown experience, the Borreo Building offers historic charm and architectural character, while the Gordon Huether Art Studio provides a creative, gallery-style backdrop surrounded by world-renowned art installations. These offsite venues also allow for much larger events — accommodating up to 300 guests year-round — making them ideal for grand celebrations, corporate galas, and large-scale receptions.
